Laura is a veteran journalist and the award-winning author of Solo Yet Never Alone Swimming the Great Lakes, and Soulmates on Ice: From Hometown Glory to the Top of the Podium.

She also teaches writing in its many forms, from copywriting to corporate communications and from journalism to speechwriting.   She edits for various personal and professional writing projects across Canada.
